On one rainy night on November 11, 2020 during the pandemic, Sophia walked from her Hoboken apartment to meet a guy for dinner who she messaged first on Tinder. Running late in true Sophia fashion, she met JR (also known as Kieran) at the entrance of Grand Vin.

While JR thought he found his dream girl once he realized Sophia shared his love of cars, Sophia thought she'd never see him again when he said that "he had to go back to San Francisco for two weeks.”

Little did she know, he never got on the plane because of her. JR texted Sophia later that weekend asking to get dinner again, which she happily agreed to. Soon after that, the two were inseparable.

Over the next three years, JR and Sophia created many memories as a couple. Together, they've gone on many trips to Florida, watched endless car review YouTube videos, shared countless bottles of wine, bought their first home and binged watch every episode of 90 Day Fiancé and Love Island.

Finally on January 4, 2024, JR took Sophia to her favorite restaurant, Ninety Acres at Natirar, for a suspiciously early dinner. Just as she thought they were heading home to pick up dessert and watch a movie, JR pulled her into the garden, got down on one knee and asked Sophia to spend the rest of her life with him. She cried tears of happiness and said yes! She cried even harder when she found out that he gathered all her family and closest friends at a bar in Morristown for a surprise celebration.
